A group calling itself the ‘Alpha Patriots- Binduri Chapter’ in the Upper East Region has petitioned President Akufo-Addo to consider elevating Ayinga Yakubu Abagre, the incumbent District Chief Executive (DCE) for Binduri in his second administration.
The group’s petition follows earlier ones by various groups including the local executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Binduri Constituency on the same demand.
In its petition, the Alpha Patriots, emanating from the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), described Mr. Abagre as hardworking and dedicated. His efforts, according to the group, contributed to the success of the party in the constituency in the December 2020 polls.

BINDURI NPP YOUTH ADVOCATES FOR THE ELEVATION OF THE DCE, HON. AYINGA YAKUBU ABAGRE
We, the Alpha Patriots-Binduri branch a volunteer national youth network with branches at the various constituencies focused on the advocacy and the preaching of the NPP government policies to the masses. We extend our warm regards to the entire NPP fraternity and individuals who contributed in kind or cash towards our victory and setting a record in the electoral history of the constituency and the nation at large.
Indeed, the good people of Binduri recognize the hard work and dedication put in place by dynamic MP, Hon. Abdulai Abanga and the finest DCE in the Upper East Region, Hon. Ayinga Yakubu Abagre towards the just ended general polls opening another historic chapter in the electoral successes of the party in the constituency and the region at large. Not only beating the NDC candidate but also increases the NPP presidential votes.
Certainly, that feat is unheard of in the remaining fourteen (14) constituencies of the Upper East Region and that definitely was not achieved on a silver platter. They put your shoulders to wheel and also helps initiate projects including the 11 One Village One Dam, Educational infrastructure, provision of potable water, annual supply of agriculture inputs, women support programmmes, rural electrification project etc.
It is on the score of this, we joined dozens of public and obscure voices to make a clarion call on President Akuffo-Addo to consider the Binduri District Chief Executive for an appointment in his government.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr once said, “Not everybody can be famous but everybody can be great, because greatness is determined by service”.
Yes, Hon. Ayinga Yakubu is a great leader. There live a great people, a black people who invented new meaning into the veins of Binduri politics and they are;
