The Supreme Court has yet again taken a “unanimous” decision on the election petition filed by John Dramani Mahama.

This was announced by the president of the Court, Kwasi Anin Yeboah, prior to reading the judgement on Thursday, March 4.

“My Lords, the judgement of the court is unanimous and same will be read by the President of the [Supreme] Court.”

It comes after most of the rulings of the justices as regards applications of the petitioner during the hearing were unanimous.

Even reviews of some of those rulings filed by the petitioner – which demanded additional justices to sit on them – also resulted in unanimous decisions.

Justice Anin Yeboah, who is also Ghana’s Chief Justice, is reading the judgement and has already indicated that the petitioner admits that he did not challenge the figures of the elections though praying for a rerun of the presidential polls.
