Accra-based club, Legon Cities Football Club has unveiled striker Victorien Adjé Adebayor to augment their squad ahead of the second round of the Ghana Premier League (GPL).

The clinical finisher was unveiled on March 12, after signing him from Danish 1st Division club, HB Köge on loan until the end of the year.

The former Inter Allies captain had a short stint with the Danish club when he joined the team in October 2020.

Adebayor was the leading top scorer with Inter Allies during the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League with 12 goals before it was canceled.

Legon Cities are currently in the 15 positions in an 18 clubs league and Adebayor’s signing would help position the team from being relegated to the lower division.
