Video: Watch how Rev. Simon Asige was honored gloriously as he retired

Head Pastor and Founder of World Light Temple, Rev. Simon Asige has been given a ceremonious service to mark his retirement from active leadership in the church.

World Light Temple formerly, Seed Across Nations Evangelistic Ministries(SANEM), was established in 1992 by Rev. Simon Asige as a Bible believing church which has spread the gospel to several parts of Ghana.

The church started actively in Bongo in early 90’s at the time Rev. Simon Asige was heading Bongo Secondary School.

The church has since contributed to the growth of Christianity by creating branches across the Upper East Region and the country with it’s headquarters in Bolgatanga.

Admonishing the congregants in Bolgatanga before an induction of a new Head Pastor, Rev. Asige admonished the church to remain resolute and have believe in it’s leadership to continue to spread the word of God.

He recounted how it was challenging at the initial stage for him and other  members to establish the church.

Mr. Asige however said, he finds solace in the changing dynamics in society where Christianity has now been accepted as compared to decades ago.

He also urged the youth not to give up on their Godly assigned duties and work vigorously towards the core values of the church.

Rev. Asige who is a retired Educationist and former Director In-Charge of Tertiary Education in the Ghana Education Service,has been succeeded by Pastor Timothy Ayimboora.

Pastor Ayimboora will be in charge of the administrative and coordination roles of the church.

In his address to the church , he noted how privileged he was to be given such a mantle and called for a collective effort to manage the church to the glory of God.
