Deputy Majority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin has call supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to take it easy with the minority MPs in Parliament saying politics comes with its challenges.

According to him, though he finds it difficult to poke his nose on people’s issues, the brouhaha amongst the minority MPs in Parliament was not something surprising.

Speaking on Daybreak Upper East on A1 Radio, the MP for Effutu Constituency noted that the actions of the minority MPs in Parliament were all part of the political build-up of the country; hence he wishes them well.

“It is their party and I only express my opinion on our own. Well, I can only hope that they can overcome their differences because we need each other for the betterment of this country. But it is to be expected, I mean politics is like that. There would always be challenging times here and there so any serious politician would not see this as news, I mean it would not be a surprise at seeing these things.”

Meanwhile, the Minority Chief Whip Muntaka Mubarak, who spoke on Joy News on Wednesday and monitored by A1 Radio noted that the reactions of their members and the resignation of the North Tongu MP, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa were based on their thinking and could not be faulted.
