The Paramount Chief for the Navrongo Traditional Area, Navro-Pio Pe- Dennis Aneakwoa Belinia Adda, has said that President Akufo-Addo’s decision to maintain his Road Minister, Kwasi Amoako- Atta was not only excellent but a call for good governance.
The Paramount Chief noted that Mr Amoako- Atta’s performances in the road sector did not only satisfy many Ghanaians but convinced many that he has the country at heart…“and will love to see every single road has been worked on.”
Speaking exclusively with A1 Radio, the paramount chief explained that in every country good road networks propel the economic sector to thrive and the minister has proved beyond doubt that he wants every major road in the country to be worked on.
He said “When I heard reports that the president has maintained some of his ministers in his second term, I was happy especially the road minister, the man knows his work and if one listens to him speaking one will realize that in his heart he wants every single road in Ghana to be worked on, and that is what some of us like; someone who has the country at heart.”
Touching on some of the roads in his traditional area, the paramount chief noted that some of them need to be worked on especially the town roads for easy movement of vehicles.
He said “We need proper road networks in Navrongo for development, I will make sure that the new Municipal Chief Executive that will be coming; I will be on him for a proper layout to be done on the town. Sometimes, one will struggle to move his/her vehicle in or out of the town and that is bad, Navrongo is growing and we need to have proper layout as a town.”
