The Bolgatanga Girls’ Senior High School (BOGISS) has emerged as winners in the Northern Zone of the 2021 Onga Cook Art competition.
The zonal competition was held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Tamale Senior High School. Seven SHSs drawn from the traditional three regions of the North (Upper East, Upper West & Northern) participated in the competition.
They were Wa SHS, Wa Technical, Ghana SHS, Bolgatanga Girls’ SHS, Awe SHTS, Vitting SHS, and Tamale SHS. At the end of the competition, BOGISS came up with 48 points followed by Ghana SHS with 47.5 and Wa SHS with 47 points.
With this win, BOGISS is qualified to participate in the National level in Accra either in June or July 2021.
