The adage that suggests that the Ghanaian politicians are the most corrupt people in the country has been challenged by the Member of Parliament for the Zebilla Constituency in the Upper East Region, Lawyer Cletus Avoka.

But according to Lawyer Avoka who spoke exclusively on Day Break Upper East Show on A1 Radio said even though there is corruption in the Ghanaian political system, some institutions such as the judiciary is the worst corrupt institution.

Mr Avoka indicated that it will be wrong for anyone to assume that politicians are the most corrupt public officials because he thinks that politicians are the least corrupt officials in Ghana.

The Zebilla MP further hinted that some court systems clerks hid dockets, bailiffs take money and refuse to serve summons, and in the ministries, massagers refuse to put people files on top so that a minister will see and respond quickly.

He indicated that it is a system failure as such there is the need to fight it collectively rather than accusing politicians of being corrupt.

Some section of the public as well as some research surveys suggested the politicians are among the most corrupt people who will always want to influence their way out to attaining power.
