Human Rights Division of the Accra High Court on May 31, 2021, ordered the management of Achimota School to admit two Rastafarian students.
Achimota School in March this year refused to admit two dreadlocks wearing students, Tyron Iras Marhguy and Oheneba Kwaku Nkrabea who were placed at school by Computerized School placement System due to their refusal to cut their dreadlocks.
Trial judge, Justice Gifty Agyei Addo ruled in favour of the students and ordered the Achilles school to re-admit them citing the rights of the students.
