Hempire Association of Ghana (HAG) has asked law enforcement agencies to stop the hypocrisy and legalize wee for economic benefits to the country.
President of HAG, Nana Kwaku Agyemang says, it will be preposterous for one to conclude that the legalization of wee for medicinal purposes will lead to an increased intake of wee in the country.
Mr. Agyemang, who was speaking in an interview on Day Break Upper East show on A1 Radio noted that, the legalization of cannabis indica will help contribute to the economic growth of the country as many countries can testify to legalizing cannabis sativa for pharmaceutical use and cannabis indica for medicinal and adult use.
According to Mr. Agyemang, the only way to stop the illegal cultivation of cannabis is by regulating legal access to cannabis for adults over the age of 21 and it can only be purchase at a dispensary that has the capacity to test local wee to find out if there are harmful substance in it.
Mr. Agyemang’s comment came in connection with the recent reports that suggest that the country will soon legalize wee for medicinal purposes.
