Member of Parliament for Ejura-Sekyedumase constituency in the Ashanti Region, Bawa Braimah Mohammed has alleged that the people who attacked and killed #FixTheCountry campaigner, Ibrahim Kaaka Mohammed Mohammed were the same people who attacked him during a registration exercise in the constituency some time ago in 2020.

According to him, those people are believed to be the bodyguards of the Municipal Chief Executive of the area and has been using them to intimidate anyone who disagrees with his directive.

Commenting on the recent incident where two people have been alleged to have shot dead by military men in their quest to disperse protesters in the area following the killing of #FixTheCountry campaigner, Ibrahim Kaaka Mohammed Mohammed, Mr Bawa Braimah noted that the security personnel actions were a bit unprofessional.

He said, “Regardless of the actions of the youth, the security personnel could have used a different approach to disperse the youth and not what they have done that rather worsen the situation.”

Speaking on Citi FM monitored by A1radioonline.com in Bolgatanga, the MP stressed that the firing of live bullets to disperse the youth was rather unfortunate and unprofessional and should have acted professionally as trained.

“How can you fire live bullets into a crowd that you want to disperse it? There is already a situation at hand that we are looking at how we can solve it but here again another situation to add up. I condemn the actions of the Military personnel.

Touching on the way forward, he called on authorities in charge of the security, to call the Military personnel to order.
