The Upper East Regional Communications Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sanusi Issah, is urging supporters of persons who have been nominated Municipal and District Chief Executives (MDCEs) in the region to exercise calm and be moderate in their celebrations.

According to him, supporters should not overly jubilate on the appointment of their preferred candidates as the task ahead of the party goes beyond the jubilations.

Mr. Issah made these comments in an interview on Daybreak Upper East on A1 Radio after the announcement of the nominated MMDCE by President Nana Akuffo-Addo.

Meanwhile, information available to A1Radioline.com shows that there has not been any reported incidents of disturbance in the Upper East region relative to the announcement of the MMDCE nominees.
