The good performance of Second division Club F.C TANGA is fast attracting residents of the Bolgatanga Municipality to the Stadium in recent time.
The Bolgatanga Sports Stadium, hitherto recorded low turn-out, even if First Division Clubs are playing.
After winning its match against a strong Pwualugu United last Friday 12 , it was the expectation of the residents that Saturday June 20, their darling Club was going to triumph over another strong opponent Walewale Catholic Stars.
No wonder the supporters came to the Bolgatanga Sport Stadium expecting nothing but a win over the Walewale Catholic Stars in Mamprusi district in the Northern region.
After a long wait, Shadrach Adombire of F.C TANGA scored the first score of the match, on the 33rd minute. When supporters were still cheering the boys to add more goals, Walewale Catholic Stars equalized, on the 51st minutes.
In the extra minutes of the match, when supporters had given-off, Fawaz Yussif of F.C TANGA, scored the goal the team’s supporters were screaming for.
