All is set for the annual children Christmas party by the former Upper East Regional Minister Madam Paulina Tangoba Abayage. Speaking to Samuel Mbura on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East, Madam Abayage explained that this year, she, along with her benefactors, hope to fete some 500 children of school-going age in the Navrongo Municipality on December 27.

Madam Abayage said she had partnered with the Ghana Education Service to ensure the selection of the children from all the circuits within the Navrongo Municipality.

“I use the Ghana Education Service. They will select the children. I have no hand in that. They [the children] are from primary to JHS. They will bring them and we will have a party for them. What I noticed 2 years ago was that there were a lot of gate crashers and it affected the distribution. What I have done is to ask the GES to give me 400 children and then we allow room of 100,” she explained.

The children, Madam Abayage said, will have the time of their lives, eating, drinking, singing, dancing and engaged in general merrymaking. The Regional Police Band is expected to grace the occasion.
