As Ghana marked its 65 Independence Day, the District Chief Executive for Bolgatanga East, David Amoah is charging all individuals, especially those in the diaspora to chart a path of growth in realizing the development of the district.

According to Mr Amoah, a district or society can only grow when there is unison in the path chosen amongst residents and opinion leaders.

He said, “we cannot say there were never challenges, we met several challenges but as a district, such challenges can be overcome if we work as a unit to chart a common course to developing our goals through collaboration and cooperation in various forms.”

Delivering a speech at the Agric Park in Zuarungu, the DCE noted however that, the government’s Agenda 111 hospital projects, the district was blessed to have one and work is on course.

“Our district is one of the beneficiaries of the Agenda 111 projects. Work is currently ongoing at the project site in Katanga. This project is so dear to President Akufo-Addo’s heart and as beneficiaries let us see how we can collaborate well to get the project completed on time.”

Touching further on the project, Mr Amoah noted that it is a complete Hospital Complex with ultra-modern facilities.

He however showed appreciation to opinion leaders in the area for the roles they played in providing the land for the project to start.
