Petrosol commissions Pwalugu station

One of Ghana’s oil marketing companies, Petrosol has commissioned a new station at Pwalugu in the Talensi District of the Upper East Region. This brings to 120, the number of stations of the company across the country.

At a brief ceremony to commission the station on Thursday March 17, 2022, the Chief Executive Officer of Petrosol, Michael Bozumbil, who is an indigene of the area said the establishment of the station at Pwalugu was his way of giving back to his people.

Head of Marketing at Petrosol, Kwasi Zigah said the company sells clean fuel in the right quantity to its consumers and this gives the consumers value for their money.

He said, “The right way to save money is when you buy the right product. When you buy quality fuel with quality lubricant, what it does is that, it gives you more millage than the bad fuel which is cheap.”

Mr Zigah said Petrosol is an International Standardization Organization (ISO) certified company and so the company maintains international standards in processing its petroleum products including how it transports the products by tankers and how the products are stored in underground tanks. He also indicated that the quality of pumps, and dispensers the company uses are all of international standards and these measures offer consumers quality, quantity and competitive prices in all Petrosol fueling stations across the country.

After the commission, hundreds or drivers and motorcyclists who bought fuel the new station received free fuel to top up their tanks.

In 2021, Petrosol won Motorcycle Lubricant of the year at the Ghana Oil and Gas Awards.
