Tabitha Ayellah, a Member of the NPP Upper East Regional Communications Team who doubles as a regular contributor to A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East Show has been appointed by newly elected executives within the Bolgatanga Central Constituency to lead the communication wing of the party.
Madam Ayellah stated her commitment to improving the communication of the party when she spoke exclusively to A1 Radio.
“One of the things I would want to do in my constituency in terms of communications would be where we emphasize the local language, go to the communities and have one-on-one conversations with them to get them to understand government’s policies.”
“The target would be the youth since they would be people that would be around in the next 20-20 years. Any party that would love to be around for the next generations should always target the youth and cause them to have a rethink of the voting pattern in our constituency,” she said.
Madam Ayellah continued to say “we are going to do this by exposing the policies that the government has instituted, that have directly affected them and improved their livelihood.”
She added that under her leadership, more women in the party would be reached out to, explaining that “if you are able to target the women and get your message to them, I think they would be able to get the youth to side with us.”
She promised to uplift the level of conversations within the constituency.
