UW: Wa East MP questions MoE over stalled infrastructural projects at SDD-UBIDS

Godfred Seidu Jasaw, Member of Parliament for the Wa East Constituency in the Upper West Region has filed urgent questions on the floor of Parliament seeking answers from the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Adutwum on the fate of stalled infrastructural projects on the Simon-Diedong-Dombo University for Business Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS).

Documents available to a1radioonline.com  also suggest that the MP for Wa East asked about the estimated seven thousand students who sit on the floor to study in schools spread across the Wa East area.

“To ask the Minister for Education what specific steps are being taken to provide furniture for the over seven thousand pupils who currently sit on the floor in schools in the Wa East District.”

“To ask the Minister for Education what specific measures are in place to complete stalled GETFund infrastructure projects for smooth academic work to go on at S.D. Dombo University in Wa.”

“To ask the Minister for Education when construction works at Dupari Girls’ Senior High School, near Bulenga in the Wa East District, would be completed,” the questions read.
