The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Chiana-Paga constituency, Robert Aloo, has emphasized the importance of skillful lobbying and persuasive proposal writing as essential qualities for effective representation for anyone seeking to be a Member of Parliament for the area.
According to him, these skills are crucial for garnering support and resources to address the needs of the constituents.
In an exclusive interview on A1 Radio, the PC outlined his commitment to providing adept representation by employing his lobbying skills to secure the necessary support for the development of Chiana-Paga. He emphasized the need for a proactive approach to engaging with stakeholders to address the challenges facing the constituency.
Mr. Aloo also expressed his vision for fostering collaboration among the youth, irrespective of their political affiliations. He believed that harnessing the collective efforts of the younger generation can lead to innovative initiatives that will contribute to the overall development of the area.
He indicated that he would aim to create a platform for constructive dialogue and collaboration on projects that transcend political boundaries by encouraging unity among the youth.
“As a representative of the people, it is crucial to not only be well-versed in the art of lobbying but also to bridge the gaps between the youth from different political backgrounds. Our collective goal would be the progress and development of Chiana-Paga. And I’m ready to do that when given the mandate to represent them on the floor of parliament,” Aloo asserted.
He also pledged to focus on sustainable development projects, education, healthcare, and infrastructure, emphasizing that his leadership would prioritize the needs of the people and work towards a brighter future for Chiana-Paga.
With the December 7th elections approaching, Mr. Aloo urged the constituents to consider his experience, skills, and commitment to collaborative development as they make their choice for the next Member of Parliament. He therefore assured that he remains confident that, given the mandate, he will bring about positive and lasting change to the lives of the people in the Chiana-Paga constituency.
