Former Metropolitan Chief Executive of the Tamale Metropolis in the Northern Region, Iddrisu Musah affectionately called Musah Superior, has stated that the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) mantra of breaking the 8 is a very uncomfortable noise.

According to him, there is so much noise and lamentation at the party.

“We need to stop the noise. There’s so much noise in the system. We’re breaking the 8; it is a very uncomfortable noise and I want us to discontinue this noise and then get back to work.”

“We’ve got to go back, prepare the party, incentivize our people, prepare the party, motivate the base and then come back and get serious. You cannot break the 8 with a demotivated, less incentivized and completely weak party.”

According to the NPP General Secretary hopeful, the party needs a strong grass root base going into the 2024 elections considering the many economic challenges the country is faced with as a result of the global pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war.

Speaking on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East Show today, July 5, 2022, the Deputy Chief Executive of the Forestry Commission said the NDC is pushing propaganda to undermine the good works of the government.

“And we all know the kind of challenges our government is facing because of the global pandemic and the Ukraine-Russia war and the propaganda being pushed out there by the NDC to undermine the kind of good works Akufo Addo and his government have done.”
