President to commission factory in Fumbisi, visit Bolga East Agenda 111 project on August 5, 2022

The President is expected to commission a project in Fumbisi in the Builsa South District as part of the government’s One District One Factory.

A1 Radio has gathered that a rice milling factory has been established in Fumbisi as part of the government’s grand scheme, One District One Factory.

The President’s visit forms part of his usual regional tours done to ascertain the progress of work in the various districts and regions.

This is according to the Upper East Regional Director of Communications, Peter Ayinbisa. He said this when he spoke to Mark Kwasi Ahumah Smith on A1 Radio’s DayBreak Upper East Show.

“The President has resumed his regular regional tours to interact with people of various districts and regions and to see firsthand, what is happening on the ground. A lot of work has taken place since the 2020 elections. Fortunately, in the Upper East Region, the President has programmed to be here on the 4th of August if nothing changes.”

“On the 5th of August, he will be commissioning a factory project in Fumbisi. He will also hold a mini durbar of chiefs and their people in Fumbisi. He will come to Navrongo and have a mini durbar with the chiefs and the people,” he said.

The President is also expected to visit the Agenda 111 project currently ongoing in the Bolgatanga East District.

“The president has been receiving briefings per work in progress so he wants to see for himself, have firsthand information; what is the state of affairs on the Agenda 111 in this region.”
