In the upcoming election at the constituency level, David Agorogo, the Bolgatanga Constituency Communication Officer, is hopeful that delegates would extend his tenure in office. Delegates are expected to extend Mr. Agorogo’s term because of the accomplishments he achieved during the previous term, he said. Mr. Agorogo expects to continue from where he’s got to.

He made this known when he spoke on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East Show.

Mr. Agorogo explained that under his watch, there was a strategy and capacity-building workshop for communicators within the constituency; a move that saw the revitalization of the party’s constituency communication wing.

“It has never happened in the history of Bolgatanga central and the other 14 constituencies in the Upper East Region. I was the first to organise orientation and a communication training for the communicators and serial callers for NDC in Bolga Central. This initiative broadened us and gave us a strong communication team.”

Additionally, Mr. Agorogo explained that close to 10 people were recruited to be a part of the regional communication team under his watch to boost the strength of the regional communication team stressing that “if you have a weak communication team, your party would fail.”

Mr. Agorogo stressed that all aspirants must strive to make the party the number one priority while campaigning. He explained that the campaigns must be geared toward what individuals can do to help the party capture power in 2024 and not targeted at damaging the personalities of the other aspirants involved.

Touching on the governance of the current administration, Mr. Agorogo explained that the NPP had failed to enhance the living conditions of the people of the country. He promised that an NDC government would do differently.
