Builsa South DCE breaks ground for construction of District Police Station

The Builsa South District Assembly has handed over site for the construction of a District Police Station. The project which is expected to be completed within a year is expected provide a congenial working environment for the discharge of duties by police personnel stationed in the district.

Breaking the ground for the commencement of work, the District Chief Executive, Daniel Kwame Gariba said the project is funded by the District Assembly Common Fund Responsive Factor Grant (DACF-RFG) commonly referred to as DPAT. 

“This project is funded by the District Assembly Common Fund Responsive Factor Grant (DACF-RFG) Popularly known as DPAT. The project is expected to be completed in a years’ time. This when completed will help provide a congenial working environment for the Police Personnel to discharge their duties effectively.”

He further appreciated the effort of the Divisional Chief of Fumbisi, Nab Akanko III and his subjects for the release of land for the project.

“I want to particularly thank the Divisional Chief of Fumbisi, Nab Akanko III, for helping to provide land for the Project.”

While the Engineering Unit of the District Assembly will serve as the Consultants, the construction will be carried out by Tumalana Construction and Company Limited.
