NDC elections: Martin Ayamga elected as Chairman for Bolgatanga Central

Martin Ayamga has been elected as the Chairman for the Bolgatanga Central constituency for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the constituency executive elections over the weekend.

Mr. Ayamga who was the Bolgatanga Central Constituency Organizer of the NDC expressed interest in leading the party when the incumbent chairman Mr. George Ayanore bowed out as a leader of the party in the constituency after serving as a chairman from 2018.

Martin Ayamga beat his only opponent, David Atugya, with 245 votes to become the new chairman of the party.

Martin Ayamga polled 777 votes while David Atugya managed to poll 532 votes.

The elected executives in the Bolgatanga central constituency are:

  • Martin Ayamga – Chairman
  • Franci Asaare – Vice Chairman
  • Isaac Ayemvoa – Secretary
  • Adongo Jonas – Deputy Secretary
  • Rockson Atamale – Organiser
  • Muniru Ayouka – Deputy Organiser
  • Azuriba Edward – Treasurer
  • Augustina Abero – Deputy Treasurer
  • David Agorogo – Communication Officer
  • Job Aboyom – Deputy Communication
  • Ataribanam – Youth Organizer
  • Abdul Majeed – Deputy Youth
  • Anamoo – Women Organizer
  • Rose Idrisu – Deputy Women
