The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper East Region is mourning its Regional Treasurer, Fedelis Adagwine.

Mr. Adagwine was involved in a fatal motor accident on Monday, April 10, 2023. This was contained in a statement by the Upper East Regional Communication Officer, Jonathan Abdallah.

“Death has laid its icy hands on a selfless patriot, a trusted comrade, and an avowed social democrat. We received with shock the news of the demise of Mr. Adagwine Fedelis, the Upper Regional Treasurer. He was involved in a fatal motor accident on Monday, 10th April, 2023, and was subsequently rushed to the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital in very critical condition, where he finally gave up the ghost this morning, 11th April, 2023.”

“It is difficult for us to come to terms with this sudden departure; however, we take solace in Romans 14:8, “If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.  We believe you are resting with your maker.” We extend our condolences to the bereaved. We pray God comforts you in this moment of grief. In honour of our gallant soldier, we direct that all party flags be flown at half-mast throughout the region for one week beginning today, 11 April, 2023,” the statement read.
