Lamtii Apanga, a lawyer and contender in the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) May 13, 2023, primaries has conceded defeat and promised his unwavering support for the winner of the primaries and incumbent Member of Parliament, Dr. Mark Kurt Nawaane.
In a recent Facebook post, Mr. Apanga explained that he would support the MP win the 2024 general election for the NDC.
He expressed appreciation to the delegates who voted for him and many other players in the NDC for their show of support.

On Saturday, 13th May, 2023 the NDC delegates went to the polls to elect the Presidential and Parliamentary Candidates for the 2024 general elections, I put myself up to be elected; however, the delegates decided otherwise. I have accepted the result and congratulated the incumbent MP who won the elections.
Permit me to express my profound gratitude to my campaign team led by Snr bro Christopher Beogkena, Hon Douglas, uncle Nicholas Nyagle, uncle Sammy, Isaac Wulug, Daniel, Martin Dittoh, Gregory, Jerry, Fatawau, Joel, Francis, Tony, John Abaa, Edward, Baba, Madam Talanta, sis Vida and the entire campaign team and the various branch executives who believed in my dream.
Thank you Lawyer Ladies, you have been extremely supportive.
