The DCE for Garu, Musah Osman, has filed nominations to contest the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) primaries in the coming days. Mr. Osman explained that through his effort, the party had corrected its previous mistakes, learnt lessons and is ready to present a united front to deal with the NDC.

Mr. Osman explained that, as a previous Parliamentary Candidate, he had the experience and had helped in the appreciation of the votes in the area and could defeat the NDC’s PC at the 2024 election. This, he explained, makes him the party’s best bet.

Mr. Osman was speaking after hundreds of NPP faithful in the Garu constituency escorted him through major streets of Garu to file his nomination.

“Today marks the beginning of victory in 2024 for the NPP in Garu constituency. We have made our mistakes, we have identified our big faults and because of that we have amended them to a greater extent. Because of that, in the 2024 election, the NDC should get prepared. We are coming strong, united and one voice. And so, the NDC cannot stand the NPP anymore.”

The DCE stressed that the NPP’s agenda to break the 8 will get massive support from the people of Garu.

“Garu constituency in 2024 has promised the entire country and the Presidential Aspirant Hopeful that come 2024 December, we are breaking the 8,” he said.
