“We achieved it together” – Ghana’s Strongest Godfred Akolbila

The victor of TV3’s Ghana Strongest competition, Godfred Akolbila Adagkuga, celebrated his overwhelming triumph with all his fans. Mr. Akolbila emerged triumphant in the gripping grand finale of the highly anticipated 2023 Ghana’s Strongest competition on August 20, 2023.

Mr. Akolbila, hailing from the Kalbeo community in the Bolgatanga Municipality of the Upper East Region, worked towards his victory with exceptional performances in a series of staggering challenges. 

These challenges included the Truck Pull, Jumbo Deadlift, Superset Bench Press, Giant Tyre Flip, and Aboboyaa Deadlift.

Having participated in the competition multiple times and achieved various positions, except the ultimate victory, Mr. Akolbila’s experience over the years came to fruition on Sunday at the Obra Spot in Kwame Nkrumah Circle, as he succeeded in a test of physical prowess and determination.

He then took to his Facebook page and wrote, “I never gave up on the dream. And to those who believed I could do it, WE ACCOMPLISHED THIS TOGETHER.”

Mr. Akolbila walked away with a dazzling array of prizes. As the newly crowned champion, he earned a brand-new car. Additionally, he was rewarded with a substantial cash prize of GHC 10,000 cedis, as well as a gold medal. Mr. Akolbila also took home 100 bags of Ghacem cement.
