The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate, Simon Akibange Aworigo, has pledged to implement developmental projects for the people of Navrongo Central once elected in the 2024 elections.
He stated that his reasons for this commitment stem from his understanding of and desire to address the unique challenges faced by the people in the area.
“I am very social, and I believe in the power of genuine connections. To me, being an MP is not about sitting in an office and making decisions from afar. It’s about being on the ground, living among the people, and feeling their daily struggles,” Mr. Aworigo stated.
The PC who spoke on A1 Radio acknowledged that while he may not be able to solve all of these issues single-handedly, he is committed to addressing a significant portion of them if elected in the 2024 elections.
“I know that I cannot change everything overnight, but I promise to work tirelessly to make a substantial difference in the lives of the people of Navrongo Central. Their concerns will be my concerns, and together, we will strive for a better future,” Aworigo declared.
When asked why he decided to contest the parliamentary primaries, Aworigo shared a personal story. He recounted how, growing up in Navrongo Central, he witnessed the challenges faced by his own family and neighbours.Â
“I come from this community, and I have seen the struggles of the people firsthand. I want to be their voice in Parliament and advocate for the changes they deserve. Navrongo Central deserves a representative who truly understands their needs, and I am determined to be that representative,” Mr. Aworigo explained.
