One of the two aspirants for the NPP primaries in the Zebila constituency in the Upper East Region, John Kingsley Krugu, is confident that he will win the election that is currently ongoing.
Speaking to the media at a voting center, he explained that he had served the people of the area while working with the government and in the non-profit sector, but even more importantly, in the political space. He believes that the work he has done would speak for him and convince the delegates to vote in his direction.
“I have served the people of the Zebila constituency in different ways,” he said.
Mr. Krugu contested for the same position ahead of the 2020 election but lost out on the opportunity to lead the party into the election.
He explained that should the election not go his way, he would rally support for the party, as elections are not “do or die.”
