The Member of Parliament for Pru West, who also serves as the Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways, Stephen Jalulah, has reaffirmed his commitment to developing the constituency and constituents within it.
In a message celebrating the festive period and the new year, Mr. Jalulah said, “Together, we have confronted and tackled head-on the bequitted poor road conditions, insecurity, record high unemployment, healthcare, education, inaccessible potable water, and socio-economic issues. Your remarkable resilience and support have been invaluable in our collective efforts to address the needs and aspirations of our people.”
Mr. Jalulah promised to do more in the area of jobs for the young people in the area.
“Looking ahead, my commitment remains strongly unwavering in advocating for policies that will enhance the well-being of our constituency. Ranging from jobs, healthcare, and education to infrastructure and economic development. I am dedicated to ensuring your voices are heard, and your concerns are prioritized.”
The MP for Pru West recounted his contributions in Parliament during the previous year, 2023.
“Reflecting on the past, I am pleased to highlight notable contributions I made on the floor of Parliament; advocated for the approval of Ministry of Roads and Highways 2024 budget estimates, Accra-Tema Motorway Re-development Project, Kasoa-Winneba Road Redevelopment Project, and answered urgent questions on the road sector. Your trust in me has been further affirmed by the conduct of three (3) separate independent surveys on Members of Parliament’s performance, which ranked me 5th, 14th, and 28th out of the 275 legislators and 1st among all the 29 members of parliament of the then Bono Ahafo Region.”
Mr. Jalulah called for unity among constituents, saying, “As we embrace the New Year, let us do so with optimism, unity, and a collective determination to enhance our constituency. Together, we can surmount challenges, celebrate achievements, and build a future reflective of your dreams and aspirations. May the coming year bring you prosperity, good health, and boundless joy.
