Konkomba chiefs extol leadership values of Pru West MP

On Wednesday, June 28, 2023, Stephen Jalulah, Member of Parliament for Pru West and Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways, accepted an invitation from the Konkomba Chiefs and opinion leaders of Pru West District at Dama Nkwanta. The purpose of the gathering was to engage in extensive deliberations and discussions regarding the Member of Parliament’s stewardship and other pertinent matters.

During the dialogue, the Chiefs expressed their utmost satisfaction with Hon. Stephen Jalulah’s performance and affirmed that he had effectively fulfilled the purpose of the invitation extended to him in 2007 to serve the people of Pru West as their Member of Parliament. 

They expressed their unwavering support for him and encouraged him to remain focused on implementing developmental projects, generating employment opportunities, and providing socio-economic solutions to alleviate the hardships faced by the community.

In a separate development, on Thursday, June 29, the Member of Parliament held a series of meetings with various Electoral Area Polling Station Executives. These meetings took place with the Beposo Electoral Area, Prang Electoral Area, Bator Electoral Area, Abua Electoral Area, Abease Electoral Area, and Damankwanta Electoral Area Polling Station Executives, respectively. The purpose of these meetings was to engage with the local executives and discuss matters of importance pertaining to their respective areas.

Continuing his active engagement with the community, on Friday, June 30, Hon. Stephen Jalulah accepted another invitation, this time from the Beposo and Adjalaja Youth Association, to participate in their meeting. This well-attended gathering proved to be thought-provoking and highly fruitful, providing an opportunity for meaningful discussions and productive exchanges of ideas.

These interactions, according to the MP, contribute to the development and progress of the region, ensuring that the needs and aspirations of the people are heard and duly considered.
