The Anglican Junior High School in Bolgatanga has extended its appreciation to the President and Vice President of the Eastwood Anaba Ministries (EAM), Pastor Eastwood Anaba and Pastor Mrs. Rosemond Anaba, for a borehole donated to the school.
The borehole is expected to help reduce the struggle for water among the over 300 students in the school.
Mrs. Paulina Abem, the headmistress of the school, together with her staff, conveyed their gratitude at a church service on Sunday, February 11th, 2024, in Fountain Gate Chapel, Desert Pastures.
The EAM decided to drill the borehole for the school after a student of the school, Rafiq Amidu, pleaded for support during a “Career Guidance Summit” organized in 2022.
The EAM swiftly mobilized resources, dispatching a team to the site in December 2023 to commence the borehole construction project. The borehole, officially inaugurated on January 9th, 2024, promises uninterrupted access to clean water for the school community.
