The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Zebila Constituency, Dr. John Kingsley Krugu, is confident he will be voted as a Member of Parliament for the area on December 7, 2024.

Speaking to Mark Smith on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East Show today, February 9, 2024, the NPP PC explained he had worked and was seeking the legitimacy of the office of the Member of Parliament to expand advocacy and lobbying for the development of the area.

Dr. Krugu explained that his contender from the NDC, Ebenzer Ndebilla, while also from the development space, had not done enough to match his record. He said Mr. Ndebilla, who is younger, should wait his turn.

“He is also from the development sector. To some extent, we bring similar expertise to the table. He is younger than me, I think that he should join the queue. He should wait, I would make my contribution. The future is there, he can then come and contribute his quota. At this point, it is JK’s moment to bring bold solutions to the future.”

“The people of the Bawku West area and the Zebila constituency are excited about some of these bold solutions,” he said.

Dr. Krugu added that since his election as parliamentary candidate, a lot of work has gone into patching differences and consolidating the gains. He said he, along with his team, would shortly begin a thank you tour. He would then be introduced to the traditional leaders in the area as well.
