President Nana Akufo-Addo’s nominee, Albert Agana Akugre, has been endorsed as the District Chief Executive (DCE), succeeding David Amoah Akolgo.

The endorsement came after President Nana Akufo-Addo reshuffled the former DCE, David Amoah Akolgo, some weeks ago.

During the assembly session that followed his confirmation, Mr. Agana, a seasoned professional in education, expressed his commitment to building upon the foundations laid by his predecessor.

He assured the assembly and constituents that his focus would be on ensuring the equitable distribution of basic amenities, aligning with the vision of providing essential services to all corners of the district.

With overwhelming support from the assembly members, Albert Agana Akugre wasted no time in extending a call to both the assembly’s staff and constituents to join hands with him in realizing the much-needed growth for the district.

Mr. Agana, however, emphasized the collaborative effort required to achieve the common goal of uplifting the living standards of the people in the Bolgatanga East District.

Some of the assembly members who commented on the endorsement of Mr. Agana indicated that they expect him to use his exceptional experience to bridge the educational gap among rural communities.
