Philanthropists donate medical supplies to Builsa South District Hospital

The Queen Mother of the Fumbisi Traditional Area, Pognab Awon-nalim Amoak, joined Madam Leticia Maami Alhassan, a prominent figure from the Buluk community, to make a donation to the Builsa South District Hospital in Fumbisi.

The donation, consisting of theatre gowns, theatre towels, cot sheets, and bedsheets, was presented to the hospital on February 14th, 2024. Dr. Salifu, the medical officer of the hospital, graciously received the much-needed supplies and expressed gratitude on behalf of the hospital staff and patients.

Dr. Salifu gave the assurance that the materials would be utilized effectively to enhance the quality of care provided to patients at the hospital. He extended heartfelt thanks to Pognab Awon-nalim Amoak, Madam Leticia Maami Alhassan, and all contributors for their generosity and support.

In addition to her commitment to healthcare, Pognab Awon-nalim Amoak is known for her unwavering dedication to girl child education. Annually, she champions initiatives to provide sanitary pads to girls in schools within her traditional area, demonstrating her ongoing advocacy for the empowerment and advancement of young girls.
