The Headmaster of the Gambibgo Community Day Senior High School, Francis Adatara, on behalf of the school management and the community leadership, passionately appealed for additional infrastructure and a transition to boarding status.

The Headteacher emphasized the need for expanded infrastructure to accommodate the growing student population. According to Mr. Adatara, boarding facilities would greatly enhance students’ academic performance and overall well-being.

“On behalf of the Gambibgo Chief, the management of the Gambibgo Senior High School, the Assembly Member for the Gambibigo electoral area, and the entire Gambibgo Community, Staff, and Students, I would like to make a humble appeal to His Excellency the President, Nana Akufo-Addo, through the Regional Minister, to consider constructing a dining hall and dormitories, and possibly turn this school into a boarding school. If this is done, it will make Senior High School education more accessible to children in this district and beyond.”

He made this passionate appeal on behalf of the school stakeholders through the Upper East Regional Minister to the government during this year’s Green Ghana Day launch hosted by the school. Mr. Adatara is also concerned about inadequate teaching and non-teaching staff in the school.

Alhaji Abubakar Inusah, the Upper East Regional Coordinating Director, who responded to the concerns of the school on behalf of the Regional Minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih, pledged to send their demands across. However, Alhaji Abubakar urged the school management to put their demands in writing and submit them to the RCC for action.
