Celebrating Ghanaian Talent: Justice Arthur, Assist. Dir. of Advancement at Northern Illinois University

From September 2022 to July 2024, Arthur worked as a Graduate Staff Assistant in the Donor Relations Department at NIU, where he honed his skills in higher education advancement. Today, he stands out for his expertise in donor acknowledgment and stewardship, as well as securing substantial financial support through innovative naming opportunities—an integral part of NIU’s fundraising strategy.

Arthur has been instrumental in orchestrating successful fundraising campaigns, contributing to the university’s achievement of its highest fundraising total in Fiscal Year 2024. His efforts have significantly bolstered NIU’s capacity to enhance its facilities, programs, and scholarships, as well as its overall impact. He works closely with alumni, donors, and stakeholders to ensure that NIU’s vision and objectives are met.

Arthur’s growth in fundraising has reached new heights with his recent position as Assistant Director of Advancement.
