Isaac Adongo, Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central Constituency, has made a bold claim, stating that he has initiated more development projects in his constituency than the municipal assembly and the NPP government combined over the past eight years.
As an opposition MP, Mr. Adongo said his achievements are particularly noteworthy, given the challenges that come with being in the minority.
According to the Bolgatanga Central Constituency lawmaker, both the Municipal Assembly and the government cannot compare their efforts in the constituency to the development projects he has undertaken over the past eight years.
“I want to indicate that here in Bolga, I have started and completed more development projects than the municipal assembly, the president, and the vice president combined. They are no match when it comes to development,” he said.
The MP was speaking to the media in the Kalbeo community, where he inspected a number of projects he has provided for the people, including a maternity block at the CHPS compound, a grinding mill facility, several boreholes, and more.
The outspoken legislator also stated that despite his tireless engagements in Parliament on national issues, he remains focused and committed to addressing the needs of his constituents at all times.
“I don’t just speak in Accra. I attend to my people and create opportunities for them. I have had much more impact in terms of development projects than they have.”
Mr. Adongo took the opportunity to call on the community to vote for him and the NDC, so they can continue providing development, unlike the NPP government, which he said cannot point to anything they have done for the Kalbeo community in the past eight years.
