Simon Akibange Aworigo of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been elected by voters in the Navrongo Central Constituency of the Upper East Region.
He defeated Alhaji Otito Achuliwor of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr. Aworigo secured 26,190 votes, while Alhaji Achuliwor received 12,203 votes.
