Issifu Mahmood of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has defeated the incumbent Binduri MP, Abdulai Abanga, of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr. Mahmood secured 21,943 votes, while the incumbent polled 7,811 votes. This is according to provisional results obtained by A1 Radio.
