Mahama Ayariga, Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, has been appointed as a member of the 2024 Transition Team by President-elect John Dramani Mahama. The announcement aligns with the Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (Act 845), which outlines the process for a peaceful transfer of political power in Ghana.

The Transition Team, tasked with facilitating collaboration between the incoming and outgoing administrations, aims to ensure a seamless shift in governance. The team comprises seasoned professionals with expertise spanning finance, governance, and public administration, underscoring the commitment to an orderly and effective transition.
