Ebenezer Ndebilla, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Zebilla, has emphasized that his primary focus is to provide exceptional representation for the people of Zebilla, ensuring trust and reliability in his leadership.
He reiterated his commitment to conducting himself in a manner that upholds the values and expectations of his constituents, with the aim of delivering the best outcomes for the region.
“They should expect nothing but the best from me because I will be conducting myself in the best manner possible to ensure that the constituency gets the best it deserves,” he assured.
In an interview on A1 Radio, Mr. Ndebilla addressed questions about his ambitions for a political position within the government. He acknowledged the competitive nature of lobbying in Parliament, given the limited number of ministerial appointments relative to the large number of MPs. While he clarified that he is not actively pursuing a ministerial role at this time, he expressed his willingness to support the government’s agenda if presented with the opportunity.
“I don’t think it is something I’m craving or dying for right now. What is important is the representation my people have entrusted me with. But if the opportunity comes, why not? I’ll be more than willing to support the government in executing its programs,” he stated.
Mr. Ndebilla also highlighted that leadership in Parliament is not solely defined by ministerial appointments. He emphasized that there are numerous other roles where MPs can contribute significantly to the development of the country.
