Regentropfen University College (RUC) in the Bongo District of the Upper East Region has marked a major milestone with the graduation of 70 students and the matriculation of 679 fresh entrants during its 8th Congregation and 9th Matriculation ceremony held on Saturday, November 29, 2025.

The ceremony, hosted on the university Bongo-Namoo campus at Kansoe, was themed “Building Sustainable Futures Through Value-Based Education.”

Addressing the gathering, the Founder and President of RUC, Rev. Fr. Dr. Moses Asaah Awinongya reflected on the institution’s remarkable journey from a modest vision to a beacon of transformation in the region.

“This university, which at the initial stage was laughed at and questioned—why establish a university in the middle of nowhere—has now become a channel of change and development,” he said, drawing applause from students and dignitaries.

Speaking on behalf of the Council Chairman, Professor George Nyarko, a member of the College Council, charged the new graduates to carry forward the values that define Regentropfen University.

“To our graduates, you stand at the doorway to a new chapter. Hold fast to your values; let integrity be your guide, discipline your strength, and innovation your advantage. You are the builders of the sustainable future we dream of. Carry the Regentropfen spirit with honour,” he urged.

He further advised incoming students to take their academic journey seriously and strive to build character alongside intellect, reminding them that university education is as much about personal development as it is about academic excellence.
