The Agmabre clan has emerged victorious in the 2025 Tindonsobilgo Inter-Clan Football Gala, defeating Azanbuluko on penalties after a 1–1 draw in regulation time. The win marked a successful climax to the annual event, which was organised by the youth and the Assembly Member of Tindonsobilgo, with support from the Bolgatanga Central MP, Isaac Adongo.
The clans in the Tindonsobilgo community include Agmabre, Azanbuluko, Abua, Apitanga, Ananganre, Atinamolka, Akoyelko, and Abe-Yaan.
The tournament, which featured all eight clans, aimed to foster unity and draw attention to the developmental needs of the community. Agmabre took home the trophy, a football, and soft drinks, while Azanbuluko and Apitanga placed second and third, respectively.
Tindonsobilgo Youth Chairman, James Awara, called for improvements to the community health facility and football pitch. “Our health facility is located in a low-lying area and needs improvement to prevent flooding. There is no laboratory, and the maternity ward is not well resourced,” he said.
Bolgatanga Municipal Chief Executive, Roland Ayoo, praised the youth for promoting unity through the tournament. MP Isaac Adongo also pledged to address the concerns raised, particularly the upgrading of the health facility, and supported the youth with ¢10,000 in addition to funding the tournament.
The Assembly Member for the area, Thomas Ayambila Apaala, together with the Tindaana and elders of Tindonsobilgo, commended the youth for their efforts and called for sustained unity to drive development in the community.
