Akayet Discloses Plans of Establishing A Hospital In the Upper East Region

Founder of Akayet Group of Companies has disclosed to a1radioonline.com that his company has plans of building a hundred bed hospital in the Upper East Region to complement the existing hospitals.

According to him, feasibility studies are currently ongoing in the region in order to find a place suitable for the project which will help see the development of the region soar and also help meet the health needs of the people, which have over the years been a headache.

“It is our plan that, we will build a hundred bed hospital in the Upper East Region to support the existing facilities in the region. There are more things to come under the company and it is our hope that, the will of God will be done.”

The owner of Akayet Hotel also revealed that plans are underway to build branches of Akayet Hotel in other parts of Northern Ghana adding that, it was imperative to broaden the knowledge of people in the tourism industry and will, therefore, complement the hotels with a school for hospitality in the offing.

“We are planning to put up an Akayet hotel in Northern Region and Upper West, before we think of moving to Kumasi and other places in Ghana.”

Akayet Hotel has been the talk of town in the Upper East Region after it was launched last year and it has rolled out several programs and events, but the owner of the establishment mentioned that, the edifice was not put up purposely for money making, but rather, to employ the teeming unemployed youth in the Region.

He used the opportunity to call on other business people from the region, to come together to help develop the Upper East Region to an enviable level.
