Moses A. Amoah, the current Constituency Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Navrongo Central, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Constituency Chairman ahead of the party’s upcoming internal elections.
In a formal declaration addressed to party members, Amoah said his decision follows extensive consultations with stakeholders across the constituency, as well as the party’s announcement of timelines for its internal restructuring process.
He emphasized that his ambition is rooted in a deep commitment to the growth and success of the NPP in the area.
“I hereby humbly declare my intention to contest for the position of Constituency Chairman when nominations open later this year,” he stated, calling for the support and prayers of party faithful.
Amoah brings to the race a wealth of grassroots experience, having served the party in multiple capacities over the years. His roles have included Polling Station Secretary, Electoral Area Coordinator, member of the Constituency Communications Team, Assembly Member at the Kassena-Nankana Municipal Assembly (KNMA), member of the Regional Communications Team, and currently Constituency Secretary for two consecutive terms.
According to him, these positions have equipped him with deep institutional knowledge and a practical understanding of the party’s internal dynamics, positioning him as a strong candidate to lead.
“These roles have provided me with invaluable grassroots experience, and I believe the time has come for my skills and knowledge to be utilized in leading the Constituency Executive Committee,” he noted.
Amoah outlined his vision for a more united, vibrant, and results-oriented party structure capable of reclaiming the Navrongo Central parliamentary seat in the 2028 general elections.
He stressed the need for strong, proactive leadership that understands the local political landscape and can effectively mobilize party members.
“At this crucial juncture, the constituency needs a competent, experienced, and dynamic chairman who can unify the party and drive its machinery toward victory,” he said.
Key among his priorities are strategic resource mobilization, open dialogue, consensus building, and enhanced collaboration among party members at all levels—from polling station executives to national leadership.
He believes these efforts will reinvigorate the party’s base and strengthen its electoral prospects.
As he transitions from consultations to active campaigning, Amoah has pledged to engage delegates and party members across the constituency to share his vision and build broad-based support.
He concluded his declaration with a message of unity and collective responsibility, urging party members to work together toward a common goal.
“Together, we can build a stronger, more resilient, and united NPP in the Navrongo Central Constituency,” he said.
