The International Presbytery of Fountain Gate Chapel International has ordained 63 new pastors during a ceremony held on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

The event took place during the church’s annual Bethesda Conference.

Ministering at the ceremony, the Chairman of the church, Daniel Aseidu, reminded the ordinands that their calling as ministers of God is one of servanthood. He referenced the symbolism of feet washing as demonstrated by Jesus Christ and cautioned them against pride and disrespect for leadership within the ministry.

The ordination ceremony saw the new pastors inducted into the church’s presbytery, marking a significant milestone in its mission. The event was attended by church members from the Upper East Region and beyond, as well as guests from various local congregations.

The founder of the church, Eastwood Anaba, charged the ordinands to uphold purity, prayer, and the preaching of the gospel. He also reaffirmed the church’s commitment to biblical principles on marriage and sexual purity.

He emphasised marital faithfulness, stating that members of the church are expected to refrain from adultery and fornication, and that divorce is not permitted except in cases of infidelity.

“Marriage vows must be upheld. If there is no infidelity, divorce should not occur,” Pastor Anaba said, addressing those who have described his position as bold.

Among those ordained was Mr. Gerard Awombadek Asagi, a media personality and co-host of the Daybreak Upper East programme on A1 Radio.
