The Evangelical Presbyterian Church Ghana in Bolgatanga has marked its 2026 Easter picnic with a variety of recreational activities aimed at strengthening unity and fellowship among members.
The event, which began around 2 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026, brought together congregants at the church premises in Tanzui to promote peace, love, and togetherness within the church community, while also providing entertainment.
Members participated in several fun-filled activities, including ludo, card games, sack races, egg-and-spoon races, and eating competitions. Children from the Sunday school also performed choreographed routines as part of the celebration, while other games, such as flip-and-eat, added excitement to the occasion.
The picnic concluded with a get-together session where members shared meals, further strengthening bonds within the congregation.
Participants expressed joy and satisfaction at the end of the event, highlighting the importance of such gatherings in fostering unity within the church.
