Eric Ayine Aloko has been selected as one of three coaches for the Colleges of Education Sports Association (COESA) National Athletics Team ahead of the maiden UG Invitational Championship in Accra.

The team is currently in camp preparing for the competition.

Aloko is an Exercise Scientist, Fitness Trainer, Athletics Coach, Lecturer, Team Manager of Berekum City Football Club, and National Technical Director of the Ghana Blind Sports Federation.

His appointment is based on his experience in athletics coaching, physical conditioning, and athlete development across both mainstream and disability sports.

The COESA technical team is preparing athletes from Colleges of Education across the country for the upcoming championship, with focus on physical, mental, and tactical readiness.

Aloko’s selection is seen as a notable appointment for the Upper East Region and institutions including Volta-Oti (VOLTI) and Dambai College of Education (DACE), where he has been involved in sports development and training.

The UG Invitational Championship will be the first edition of the event.
